Caden Christopher

Well things are beginning to settle down at home with Caden.  He's beginning to get into a routine and his favorite thing to do is eat for sure :)  I thought I'd share some pictures of the last week...

I can't believe how quickly the first week has gone!  He's already changed so much! Mr. Fredrickson and I couldn't be happier!

Caden Christopher arrived at 5:18 pm. He weighs 7 lbs 4 oz and is 19 inches long!

Ta-Ta For Now

Well tomorrow (Wednesday the 21st) will be my last day of work for a few weeks.  Mrs. Lorenz will be my sub and I want to assure you that she is amazing.  I've had her daughter in my class and have been working with her over the past few weeks so she knows how my classroom runs and everything should transition smoothly.  I will have access to my email; however, will most likely be extremely busy and preoccupied with other things so you will want to email Mrs. Lorenz at jillindal@gmail.com with any questions or concerns about class. 

I will be back at the end of this year, but am not sure at this point exactly when.  Both Mrs. Lorenz and I will be posting on the blog over the next few weeks.  I will see you soon!

Solar Grasshoppers

Last Friday we were lucky enough to have Paul's parents come in and do a fun activity with solar powered grasshoppers.

The students followed the directions in order to build their grasshoppers.

And then...Ta-Da! They were done!

Now it was time to go outside and try them out.  

Time for some grasshopper races and even some grasshopper hair-do's.

It was quite the fun afternoon!
